John Lambert, Jr.
Chapter President
Stone Restoration of America

Hello and welcome to 2025. I first want to thank our outgoing President Mike Jarman, the Board of Directors, and our Executive Director Brad Aderhold for their leadership in 2024. It was a very successful year for our Carolinas Chapter, highlighted by a fantastic Mega Demo in Raleigh this past fall where we enjoyed four technical presentations and ten product demonstrations. We also enjoyed a great Spring Conference in our beloved Charleston with some top-notch presentations and a storybook networking boat trip. Our summer saw another joint golf outing with our friends at the WCA at the beautiful Forest Oaks Golf Club where we had over 100 golfers and raised almost $10,000 for our scholarship funds. We also hosted an ICRI applicator training pilot program in Raleigh which had 30 participants and was wildly successful.

Last year was unfortunately marked by Hurricane Helene which ravaged much of the Western part of our territory. Many of our member companies and our families were and continue to be affected by the storm. We were able to raise and distribute $1,600 at the Mega Demo for agencies aiding in the cleanup and we will be planning a service project this year to benefit an organization affected by the storm.

We are planning 2 conferences and another joint golf outing this year. Our Board of Directors will continue to focus on technical education to keep our organization at the tip top of industry knowledge, highlight projects to benefit us all, support the technical training efforts led by ICRI National, and provide scholarships to foster the future development of individuals in our field. I would like to welcome our newest Board members Victor Vermiglio and Jamie Donaldson as well as thank all our corporate sponsors who have signed on to support our efforts. We have already been hard at work at the Board level to uphold the high standards you have come to expect from the Carolinas Chapter. We will be looking to engage more non-Board members to participate in our various committees and endeavors. I hope you will consider helping.

I am honored to follow in my father’s footsteps who served as President of this Chapter in 2009 and be your President this year. Please be sure to reach out to me if there is anything that you would like to see happen from this organization in 2025. Have a great winter and I will hopefully see you this spring at the conference.
