Laura Bolduc
Chapter President
DKO Engineering

I’m honored to step into the role of President for the ICRI Carolinas Chapter in 2026. Before looking ahead, I want to express my appreciation to John Lambert, Jr., who served as President this past year. John’s leadership and steady guidance strengthened our chapter’s programs and kept our momentum strong. We’re grateful for his service and the time he dedicated to our members and our mission.

As we move into 2026, our focus is on continued growth and member value. A key priority this year is expanding our corporate sponsorship base. Sponsorship is essential to supporting the educational sessions, student initiatives, and networking opportunities our members rely on. We hope to reconnect with long-time sponsors and welcome new companies that want to engage more actively with the concrete repair industry in the Carolinas. Membership growth is also an important part of our vision for the year. Our chapter is strong because of its people, and we encourage members to help us broaden our network by inviting colleagues, partners, and emerging professionals to attend a meeting or conference. Bring younger members to diversity and grow the network and awareness of the industry. The more voices and perspectives we bring in, the stronger our chapter becomes. Providing high-quality technical programs and events remains central to everything we do. Our conferences and educational sessions remain among the best opportunities in the region for practical learning and industry connections, and we intend to build on that reputation throughout the year.

We’re pleased to announce that our Spring Conference will return to Charleston, hosted once again at Hotel Indigo. Charleston has always been a popular location for our members, and we look forward to offering a strong lineup of presentations alongside a team-building event with the Charleston RiverDogs, giving attendees a chance to connect in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Later in the year, our Fall Conference will take place in Greenville at the Embassy Suites, a venue that has consistently provided a great environment for education, networking, and exhibitor participation.

The success of our chapter depends on engaged members who show up, participate, and help bring others into the fold. I encourage everyone to take part in the opportunities ahead—whether through attending conferences, volunteering with a committee, or simply introducing new people to ICRI. Thank you for the privilege of serving as your President for 2026. I look forward to working with all of you to make this another strong and productive year for the ICRI Carolinas Chapter.
